Listening

When I ask you to listen to me and you start giving me advice, You have not done what I asked. When I ask you to listen to me and you begin to tell me why I shouldn’t feel that way, you are trampling on my feelings. When I ask you to listen to me and you feel you have to do something to solve my problems, you have failed me, strange as that may seem.Listen! All I asked what that you listen, not talk or do- just hear me.Advice is cheap; twenty cents will get you both Dear Deidre and Richard Littlejohn in the same newspaper. And I can do for myself. I’m not helpless. Maybe discouraged and faltering, but not hopeless. When you do something for me that I can and need to do for myself, you contribute to my fear and inadequacy. But when you accept as a simple fact that I do feel what I feel, no matter how irrational, then I can quite trying to convince you and can get about this business of understanding what’s behind this irrational feeling. And when that’s clear, the answers are obvious and I don’t need advice. Irrational feelings make sense when we understand what’s behind them.Perhaps that’s why prayer works, sometimes, for some people… because God is mute and doesn’t give advice or try to fix things. He just listens and lets you work it out for yourself. So please listen and just hear me.And if you want to talk, wait a minute for your turn… and I’ll listen to you. MPs want God-fearing remnants of empire to downgrade Christianity

The Daily Mail reports:
The Government is being urged by a group of powerful MPs to axe references to Christianity from the constitutions of Britain’s far-flung outposts.
To the dismay of Church leaders, the Foreign Affairs Committee is pressing for the change amid claims that references to traditional Christian morality could undermine gay rights in the overseas territories.
The committee, chaired by Labour MP Mike Gapes, also objects to Christianity being singled out above other faiths.
But the recommendation, which the Foreign Office says is being ‘carefully considered’, has provoked anger among Church leaders and politicians, with the Bishop of Winchester, the Rt Rev Michael Scott-Joynt, condemning the move as ‘spurious political correctness’.Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1221173/MPs-want-God-fearing-remnants-empire-downgrade-Christianity.html#ixzz0UVr0xZS2

Bohemian Grove Exposed! - 2of7 Alex Jones

The 12th century rabbi Rashi, commenting on Jeremiah 7:31 stated:

Tophet is Moloch, which was made of brass; and they heated him from his lower parts; and his hands being stretched out, and made hot, they put the child between his hands, and it was burnt; when it vehemently cried out; but the priests beat a drum, that the father might not hear the voice of his son, and his heart might not be moved.

Age and Beauty

The most important thing is to try and enjoy life—because you never know when it will be gone. If you wake up in the morning and you have a choice between doing the laundry and taking a walk in the park, go for the walk. You’d hate to die and realize you had spent your last day doing the laundry!—Christine Lee, 67
